Server problems!

So i have been having some server problems as of late, that has been keeping me from updating, but it should be a sorted out by now. I had to transfer my domain and the entire server, well that’s to say Chris did it, i just bugged him about it.

Tabasco Sauce the bane of artists

So I have a new kitty and he likes to chew wires. I think he is teething. Well i was told by many that the solution is to coat wires in Tabasco sauce. This was simple enough. Not sure how it happened but i think i got some of that stuff on my right hand. Not sure if this is a natural reaction or an allergic reaction, but my hand feels like its on fire and the tips of my fingers are really flaming red. This is making it hard to finish the comic. A bruise from sword fighting… not a problem. Tabasco Sauce….AHHHGHHHHH its burns!!!

The reaction is pretty bad and it might delay the comic. You have been forewarned.

Some may think this comic dead. Its not. I am working on the next comic. Inking it as I type. Should be done in a week. I took a LONG break to work on a art reel. Its almost done as well. Here is an intermediate reel with nearly all the elements in place. All that it needs is some 14 century armor…

I found out some interesting details about rss. I changed the feed me link and added a link at the bottom of the page. that is a direct feed to the comics RSS. redirect your links to this feed if you just to want to be notified when I update a comic and not every time I post. Cool huh!! Also i am going to kill that fox and replace it with a dragon soon too.

This comic will be coming out of its crystalis soon, so stay tooned

Hunting for an art job that pays

so the comic is painfully dreadfully late. Why? a game studio near me is ramping up production on a hush hush fantasy game that i really want to work on. So instead of working on the comic i have been working on a demo reel to show them my awesome awesomeness.

I know i know.

I can feel your rage like the crying out of a world that screamed in agony as if suddenly silenced.

Or perhaps that on this day you will stand up and march in the streets demanding i return and slave over the comic to my very last waking breath.

Heh, who am i kidding, no one reads this comic any way ;p

IE=fixed

lately more and more visitors seem to be using IE, so when a new version of comic press came out, I used it as an excuse to upgrade and reskin the website with IE and fire fox in mind. Because of this the next page is going to be late.

The good news is that the website works in IE and isn’t covered in Grey with menus floating places they shouldn’t be.

Still working to accommodate those who use Internet explorer. The page looks pretty bad in IE because of IE not supporting .png transparency. By the next update, or the one after that, the page look a lot nicer for those who use IE.

forums update

I tinkered around in the forums, making the text bigger and using more attractive fonts. In my opinion the base templates for phpbb are kindof poor and so those effect most of the other free templates as they are all based on the originals more or less. I found some that worked awhile ago but they still had their issues. So I fooled around with that. Its better then it was before and I will continue to make it better in the future. I also added some nice emoticons that work with black backgrounds. If you like the comic, leave a comment here or on the forums, encouragement goes a long way and makes updates happen faster.
